Promoting cycling – creating perspectives
Our mission is to promote cycling in Uganda, improve the safety of cyclists and give young people perspectives by training them to become bike mechanics.
What we do
Life Cyclers Uganda is committed to road safety and is advocating for the interests of cyclists. We do this by raising awareness, organising campaigns and setting up a training program for bike mechanics and bike safari guides.
Become a Life Cycler
There are many ways in which you can support us and become a Life Cycler. For example, by taking part in one of our community tours, by donating cycling equipment, or by telling others about us and the importance of cycling.
Rentals & Repairs
Our first training workshop for bicycle mechanics is currently under construction in Mukono. Sign up for our newsletter so you don’t miss the opening. We will be offering repairs and bike rentals and use the proceeds to finance our voluntary work.
Meet the Team
The team in Uganda, Switzerland and Germany.
As an enthusiastic cyclist, I am committed to creating opportunities and perspectives through cycling for future generations in Uganda.

Why we care about cycling – and why you should too
For us, cycling is the best way to get around because it is not only healthy, but also environmentally friendly, does not pollute the air we all breathe, saves you money and is simply a lot of fun! Furthermore, it is also developing into an important economic sector. More and more tourists are asking for ecological travel options, which in turn creates employment opportunities for young Ugandans looking for a job with a long-term perspective.
Join us on one of our community tours to get to know us and learn, how you can support cycling in Uganda.
